We have officially opened a new space near the heart of the Central Business District of Singapore. The B°NU Space is easily accessible by bus and has parking all around it. It is near three subway stations (Outram Park, Chinatown & Tanjong Pagar). In four years, a new subway station will be built directly in front of it. Moreover, the space is convenient for persons with disabilities, elderly and families.
The best thing about the space is that it is the epicenter of food with a diverse range of choices. Some examples would be an Austrian Sausage place below the block, Chinatown Complex Hawker Centre and Maxwell food market for local cuisine. If you want to head out for drinks and fine dining, the famous Keong Siak Street is just one block away.
The opportunity to run our own space came in July 2015 when we found out from our friends at Atelier Small that their landlord was moving out. This was timely because we were scouting for a space. Our tasting room at Boon Keng Road was inconvenient and was frequently used by other tenants. The need for a more permanent place to conduct our food workshops and pop-up events was essential for us to build the awareness of our brand. We wanted to offer our clients the opportunity to learn more about the fine food and wine producers we represented.
B°NU has always been about community, bringing people together and connecting people from different walks of life to create interesting projects. In collaboration with Atelier Small, we decided to co-share the space with them.
We have a solo exhibition Over The Rainbow featuring Yen Chua who is showcasing a series of paintings on endangered animals from the 12th to 22nd November . For more information on this event, click here.
We also have a visiting winemaker from Italy, Stefano Amerighi who probably makes the best Syrah in all of Italy on the 24th November. More details will be released soon so follow us on our facebook page for more information.
But that’s not all! We have more ideas for the space. Our dream for the space is to feature upcoming Artists, to do more food education workshops for both kids and adults, private events, art classes for kids, photography exhibitions, poetry and art jamming sessions, performance art, short film screenings to support local film producers, informative talks and networking sessions etc.
This is the beginning of a new journey for B°NU.
We invite you to make a reservation to look at the art works or have a private group tasting of our wines. Call or whatsapp us at +6583223952 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
